Dr. Jason J. Simonton studied Biology at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2007.  Dr. Simonton completed various externships in sub-specialties in optometry.  His most interesting externship was in Bethel, Alaska working for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta Regional Hospital. While in practice Dr. Simonton  has developed an interest in Specialty Contacts, low vision and treatment of dry eye.  He also treats and manages many ocular diseases.

When he is not practicing Optometry, Dr. Simonton enjoys spending time with his family, watching sporting events, and keeping up with the latest nutraceutical breakthroughs.
